Liposuction

by Dr. Robert Schwartz on November 12th, 2007

LiposuctionThis 45-year-old had been disappointed by the results of a prior liposuction performed elsewhere. The results were uneven and too much fat had been left in the upper abdomen. Revision liposuction can be challenging; the previous liposuction can scar the fat making it difficult to remove. The Vaser system works very well here. The ultrasound probes usually do a good job of breaking up the scarred fat and allow me to remove more of it. I was able to get rid of the excess fat in the upper abdomen and smooth the irregular areas. Her torso now has a much prettier and proportionate shape.
